Thanks to everyone who asked about our recent New York trip. It was fantastic and a real revelation. Manhattan was one of the cleanest and safest-feeling places we've ever been to. Everything we experienced was better than we had expected. Fabulous city. Great people. And sparrows everywhere! Ah yeah the sparrows. Cheeky, brash, a bit noisy, always on the move and hugely entertaining - much like New Yorkers themselves! There are some piccies at our New York break page.
